A successful flooring inspection requires more than documenting what can be seen. It requires understanding what is happening beneath the surface. This full-day session begins with an in-depth look at Carpet Tiles and woven carpet construction, how it differs from tufted carpet, and why those differences matter when investigating and evaluating flooring concerns. The afternoon will shift from evaluation to correction, exploring common floor repairs, what can and cannot be successfully repaired, and how an inspector can recognize the difference. Hands-on demonstrations will give participants an opportunity to perform repair techniques themselves, providing a better understanding of what is realistically achievable in the field.
